1. Sponsor

This raffle (the “Raffle”) is sponsored and conducted by Christian Brothers College High School, 1850 De La Salle Drive, St. Louis, Missouri 63141 (“CBC” or the “Sponsor”), a bona fide nonprofit educational organization, to benefit its programs and students.

2. Governing law

The Raffle is conducted under the Constitution and laws of the State of Missouri, including Article III, Section 39(b) of the Missouri Constitution and Chapter 313 of the Revised Statutes of Missouri, which permit bona fide charitable, religious, and educational organizations to conduct raffles. The Raffle is void where prohibited or restricted by law.

3. Eligibility

The Raffle is open to legal residents of the United States who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of the Sponsor and members of the raffle organizing committee are eligible to participate unless otherwise restricted by the Sponsor. By purchasing a ticket, each entrant represents that they meet these eligibility requirements and agrees to be bound by these Official Rules.

4. How to enter

Tickets may be purchased at the following prices: $25 ACH/cash or $26.13 credit card for 1 ticket; $100 ACH/cash or $104.50 credit card for 5 tickets; $250 ACH/cash or $261.25 credit card for 15 tickets. Each package is priced two ways: the ACH/cash price and a credit card price that includes a processing surcharge; the price charged is the one matching the payment method the entrant uses. Each ticket constitutes one (1) entry in the drawing. There is no limit on the number of tickets an individual may purchase unless announced by the Sponsor. All ticket sales are final; no refunds will be issued. Tickets are not transferable once assigned to an entrant.

Entry is not complete until payment is received and confirmed by the Sponsor. The Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, or undelivered entries, or for technical failures of any kind.

5. Prize

One (1) prize will be awarded: an Evolution D5 Ranger golf cart, provided by Jack'd Carts (https://www.jackdcarts.com/), as described on the Raffle website (the “Prize”). The Prize is awarded “as is,” without any warranty, express or implied, beyond any manufacturer’s warranty that may apply. The Prize is not redeemable for cash, and no substitution or transfer of the Prize is permitted except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor, which reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the described Prize becomes unavailable.

The winner may select the color of the Prize of their choice, subject to availability at the time of selection. Colors shown on the Raffle website are for illustration only, and the Sponsor does not guarantee that any particular color will be in stock when the winner makes their selection. If the winner’s preferred color is unavailable, the winner may select from the colors then available, or the Sponsor may provide a comparable color of equal or greater value.

The winner is responsible for all costs associated with claiming and taking delivery of the Prize, including any applicable taxes, title, registration, licensing, insurance, and pickup or delivery arrangements, unless otherwise announced by the Sponsor.

6. Drawing and winner selection

The winning ticket will be drawn at random from all eligible entries — online ticket sales and sales at the event combined — at Under the Western Stars, CBC High School’s annual fundraising auction, on Saturday, December 5, 2026 at 8:00 PM CT. The drawing will be conducted under the supervision of the Sponsor. The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible tickets sold.

The winner need not be present to win. The winner will be notified using the contact information provided at the time of entry. If the winner cannot be reached within thirty (30) days of the drawing, or declines the Prize, the Sponsor may, at its discretion, draw an alternate winner.

7. Taxes

The winner is solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes associated with the Prize. Where required by law, the Sponsor will report the value of the Prize to the Internal Revenue Service and the Missouri Department of Revenue and may require the winner to complete a W-9 or other tax forms before the Prize is released. The fair market value of the Prize may be treated as taxable income to the winner.

8. Publicity and release

Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of the Prize constitutes permission for the Sponsor to use the winner’s name, likeness, and hometown for promotional purposes without further compensation. By entering, each entrant releases and holds harmless the Sponsor, the prize provider Jack'd Carts, and their respective officers, employees, volunteers, and agents from any and all liability arising out of participation in the Raffle or the acceptance, possession, or use of the Prize.

9. General conditions

The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Raffle if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond the Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity of the Raffle, and, in the event of cancellation, to refund ticket purchases or conduct the drawing from eligible entries received, at the Sponsor’s discretion. The Sponsor’s decisions on all matters relating to the Raffle are final and binding.

Any dispute arising from the Raffle will be governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and adjudicated in the state or federal courts located in St. Louis County, Missouri.
